Good morning, Coffee Gremlins!
I hope your lives have been filled to the brim with caramel iced coffees and bacon, egg, and cheese sandwiches. It’s been a while since I last wrote to you. I’ve been healing from a chronic health episode and learning to cope with recent familial shifts. However, I’m back now and happy to be here.
I’m spending my summer on Cape Cod with my in-laws, and I’ve already been exploring a wealth of new cafes and coffee shops. One of my favorites is Beth’s Bakery and Cafe. If you go, I implore you to try their tuna fish panini and (to no one’s surprise) a cup of iced coffee.
When my blog writing began to taper off, I was writing more from a marketing perspective. This change from what I was originally writing caused me a lot of internal strife. I’m currently enrolled in graduate school, focusing on marketing, and I’ve been rigorously applying to jobs in the field. Marketing has become such a huge part of my life that I thought it needed to spill over into my blog as well. While I’ll still be posting my marketing work as part of my digital portfolio, my blog posts will take a different direction.
In this new direction for my blog, I will focus on what’s most important to me: my family, pets, poetry, and creative writing. I’m also very passionate about social justice issues such as the Palestinian Genocide, reproductive health, and disability rights. The world is such a large place; I find it a shame to be pigeonholed into one category.
Thank you for coming along this journey with me! Hold your cup of coffee tightly, and happy reading.
Love,
Sarah
As an aside, I’ve included recent photos that I’ve taken on my new point-and-shoot film camera, but more on that later.
